You may have noticed that we’ve recently taken a little break from the blog. Life has swept the Iris team away but we’re thrilled to be back!
The brand continues to grow and this weekend we’ve got our very own pop up at Stylist Live. This glamorous show will host tonnes of expert talks and workshops from influential women (and a few men, too!).
Stand-out talks include, “How to Break into a Business You Know Nothing About”. You can also listen to the experts talk about “Building Beauty Empires” and “How to Work Like The French and Not Get Fired”. One of our favourites – ‘A Masterclass in How to Start your Day Strong” – is sure to be a sell-out.
There are also plenty more talks and workshops that cover the subjects modern women really care about. That is, business, ambition, feminism, mental health, nutrition and politics. There are some comedy sessions thrown in for good measure with stars including Sarah Millican and Katherine Ryan taking to the stage. You can also enjoy plenty of beauty and fashion tips from people in the know.
Leading independent brands are bringing a collection of fashion exclusives and catwalk shows to the mix. Some of the bigger names include Burt’s Bees (and their delectable lip balms) and Kikki K. Smaller boutique brands include cheeky lifestyle company A Gift From the Gods and Swedish-inspired homewares and stationery brand Karin Akesson.
At the Iris boutique, we’ll be showcasing a range of our bestselling products including sandals, bracelets and necklaces. The Stylist Live event also marks the debut of our latest new styles that we’ve been working on all summer! So new, in fact, that they’re not yet available on the website. You can be among the first to get up close and personal with our gorgeous new bracelets. These mark a slight change in direction away from the Iris statement jewellery and towards an even more versatile design.
The Iris team will also be bringing a talented friend of ours along to the event. Zefi is the co-founder of handcrafted jewellery brand Desperate Artists. Her striking, geometric pieces have such a beautiful dynamic and we’re proud to be showcasing alongside such a talented lady.
Billed as “a weekend of empowerment, entertainment and influence at its best”, the Stylist Live event looks set to be a corker. There will also be live acoustic music, free beauty treatments and… Peep Show star Robert Webb! We’re already counting down the minutes. See you this weekend.
