We’re still buzzing from the glitz, glamour and raw unbridled talent that made up London Fashion Weekend. The Iris team were proud to bring along a whole range of sandals and accessories that were very well-received by fashionistas and industry reps alike!
One of our most show-stopping pieces was this statement necklace:
We collaborated with the gorgeous Zefi at Desperate Jewelry on this one-off piece. It infuses our obsession with pineapples and costume jewellery into a tropical design aesthetic. It was great to work with a fellow Greek designer whose creations are so in tune with our own.
The entire London Fashion Weekend was a celebration of unique talent. We mingled with designers from anywhere and everywhere who are working on pieces that take creativity to the next level.
All of our sandals were popular but the embellished Anemone design was by far the biggest seller. The charcoal grey/natural tan tones and statement detail are ideal for the transition into autumn style. They work beautifully with lace or velvet, both of which are hot trends for AW’16.
The catwalk shows really stood out this year, too. We especially enjoyed drooling over the twinsets and sequins from SIBLING while the sophisticated designs of Edeline Lee were to die for. Her pieces embrace a fresh, clean aesthetic that we think will be popular in the FROW for seasons to come.
It was great to meet such a range of talented designers and, of course, our wonderful customers whose eclectic fashion sense gives us so much inspiration.
